I was hired by Sonoma winemaker, Anna Bassett, to design the labels for her Summer 2021 and Fall 2022 wine collections. This was such a special project and collaboration with Anna. She wanted to use her grandmother’s quilts as inspiration for the label art…and I took it from there and ran! I created hand-painted patterns using shapes and colors inspired by the quilts. I also designed a wrap-around label as an eye-catching way to display the wine information and to inspire the user to explore the whole label.
