The Gobi & Zephyr rugs were inspired by patterns in the sand made by the wind.  I designed the rug for sOUP Home, and they were sold in stores and online at Design within Reach. The Gobi rug was featured on the cover of DWR's January 2013 catalog.

The rugs were handwoven by artisans in Egypt's delta region and made with 100% undyed wool - the colors in the rugs are the natural colors of sheep native to the area.
